My name is Tsin Ha Lee and I live in Veenendaal together with my family. I have worked for more than 17 years as a business lawyer. First as an attorney-at-law with a Dutch and an international law firm and subsequently as an in-house lawyer for renowned companies such as the APX Group, Huawei Technologies and Athlon (Mercedes-Benz AG).
In my day-to-day work I get a lot of satisfaction from providing legal support to companies and organisations so they can solely focus on their core-business and their business goals. I would like to achieve the same for your organisation with a dedicated legal team from LegalUp, which consists of pragmatic and business-savvy lawyers with extensive experience and knowledge.

Benedikt van Gemert
My name is Benedikt van Gemert and I have been working as an attorney-at-law for more than 17 years. I am specialised in employment law. Besides my work as an attorney-at-law I am also involved in several foundations as a board member. One of these foundations provides professional support to people with a physical disability enabling them to exercise. In addition, I started with my PhD at the University of Leiden.
With respect to employment law matters, I think it is important that these matters are explained clearly and unambiguously to our customers. This way, our customers fully understand the risks at hand and which steps are needed to be taken in order to mitigate these risks. I have extensive experience in employment agreements, dismissal procedures, reorganisations and redundancy.

Fleur van Es
My name is Fleur van Es and I have almost 20 years of work experience in the field of corporate law. I have worked as a candidate civil-law notary and as a (corporate) lawyer at large international law firms and various companies. The first 8 years as employee and nowadays as a freelancer.
I enjoy advising companies with international structures on all aspects of Dutch corporate law. My expertise includes: advice on setting up legal entitites and branches, share transfers, cross-border transactions, mergers/demergers, corporate governance matters and liquidations. I also have extensive experience in the implementation and project management of international reorganisations of structures and entities.

Dennis Schallenberg
My name is Dennis Schallenberg and I have been working as a legal advisor for more than 12 years. I am specialised in personal injury and liability.
I am registered as a Personal Injury Register-Expert with NIVRE, the Dutch Institute of Register Experts. This means that I have followed and completed professional courses, seminars and trainings relating to personal injury and liability.
I provide legal support in accidents at work, medical mistakes and the use of defective products. As a Personal Injury Register-Expert, I manage the procedures after an accident and provide advice regarding damages to the parties involved.

Nicolaas Huppes
My name is Nicolaas Huppes and I have more than 17 years work experience as a business lawyer. I started my career as an attorney-at-law with an international law firm, after which I switched to work as an in-house lawyer.
I have extensive experience in drafting and negotiating all sorts of agreements. This varies from simple non-disclosure agreements to complex outsourcing contracts. As a business-minded lawyer, I always look for a legal solution for our customers that is commercially and operationally feasible at the same time.

Marloes Claessens
My name is Marloes Claessens and I have been working as an attorney-at-law for more than 10 years. I am specialised in company law, contract law, restructurings, bankruptcy law and dispute resolution.
I assist companies when they have questions about corporate law matters. These include the incorporation of companies, the setting up of joint ventures and corporate governance. With my experience in restructurings and bankruptcy law, I am able to assess the legal matters quickly and provide legal solutions to companies in distress. Having worked as an attorney-at-law in New York, I also gained extensive experience in working in an international business environment.

Myrjam Harrewijn
My name is Myrjam Harrewijn and I have been working as a legal advisor for more than 17 years. First as a candidate civil law notary with an international law firm and subsequently as a company lawyer with renowned companies.
I am specialised in company law and compliance. I provide legal advice with respect to the incorporation of companies, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, director’s liability, shareholders agreement and amendment of articles of association. In addition, I provide legal support relating to KYC (Know Your Customer).

Marije de Vries-Boeke
My name is Marije de Vries-Boeke and I have more than 17 years work experience as a lawyer specialised in IT, privacy and contract management. I have worked for (amongst others) ABB, Accenture, HP, Vodafone and Koning & Hartman.
I am a pro-active legal professional with strong organisational skills who likes to take responsibility. My favorite quote is: “I have never tried that before, so I think I should definitely be able to do that”.
I help customers of LegalUp with drafting and negotiating (IT) contracts. In addition, I provide support to organisations and institutions with respect to privacy law matters and procedures. For example: drafting privacy statements, providing advice and guidance in case of data breaches and providing trainings and workshops regarding privacy law. Last but not least, I also provide support for the implementation of new legislation and regulations like NIS2, Data Act and AI Act.

Ernst van den Broek
My name is Ernst van den Broek and I have been working as a lawyer for more than 20 years in the energy and financial markets. I have worked for (amongst others) ING Financial Markets, Nuon Energy Trade & Wholesale, Rabobank International, ABN Amro Bank, Titan LNG, Cargill and Nidera. In my spare time I enjoy sailing, visiting art galleries and listening to music.
I support customers (consisting of trading organisations and financial institutions) with drafting and negotiating financial and trading agreements. For example: LMA (Loan Market Association) documentation, ISDA Master Agreements, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA and EFET agreements. In addition, I give trainings and workshops about these contracts to the Legal and Credit departments of trading organisations and financial institutions.

Shyrin Karamat-Ali
My name is Shyrin Karamat-Ali and I have more than 30 years work experience as a business lawyer. I have worked for numerous companies and institutions in different industries and sectors. Examples of these industries and sectors are: ICT, data storage, renting and letting, health care, real estate, leasing and banking.
With regard to protecting your commercial and strategic interests legal support is essential. For example, when you apply for funding, deliver services or products and/or cooperate with other parties. As a long time legal expert in contracting, I am able to assist you with the drafting of agreements that are clear and unambiguous in wording. Furthermore, with me in your legal corner the process of contracting becomes easier and certainly more pleasant.
